AI Speak Dog (“we”, “us”) analyses dog-bark audio to estimate canine emotional states. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: privacy@aispeakdog.com.

1. Microphone & audio

Audio is captured only while you actively record or run a monitoring session, and only after your browser grants microphone permission. Recordings are sent to our classification backend to extract acoustic features and may be stored in object storage (Cloudflare R2) so you can review history, generate vet reports, and so we can improve the model. You can delete your recordings and all associated data at any time (see §6).

We use third-party processors strictly to operate the service: Clerk (authentication), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (audio storage), Anthropic / OpenAI (chat & classification), Stripe (payments), Resend & Twilio (notifications you opt into), and Sentry / PostHog (diagnostics). We do not sell your personal data.

4. Legal basis & purpose

We process data to provide the service you request (contract), to keep it secure and reliable (legitimate interest), and — for marketing emails or SMS — only with your consent, which you can withdraw anytime.

5. Retention

We retain account, dog, and bark data until you delete it or close your account. Diagnostic logs are retained for a limited period. Deleting your account removes your dogs, bark events, recordings, and feedback.

6. Your rights & controls

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data from Settings, or by emailing privacy@aispeakdog.com. The in-app “Delete my data” action and account deletion perform a full cascade removal.

7. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16.

We’ll post material changes here and update the date above.
